What is cellulose
Made from wood pulp, it successfully recycles and re-purposes waste material.
What is coconut fiber
Is a natural fiber extracted from the husk of coconuts and well known as fibrous waste from the coconuts cultivation. Coconut fiber is a very elastic, durable and resistant to rotting.
What binds the two materials together
The material that binds the coconut and cellulose together is a type of resin derived from the rubber tree. This specific type of rubber tree is found in southern China, Southeast Asia, and South America. The sap is collected using a tapping process from the trunk of the rubber tree. The sap is then mixed into an emulsion, dried, and molded into its final usable form.
